Mike Parkerの実験的で儀式的なアプローチは他と一線を画している。DJ人口が飽和状態ないまの時代において数少ないアーティストの1人であり、我々は彼の特徴的なサウンドを瞬時に見つけ出すことができる。20年以上に渡ってテクノのユニークな解釈を完成させ、Donato Dozzyや多くの仲間達のようにオーディエンスを刺激する伝説的な世界的地位を手に入れてきた。
1997年に、その後の音楽キャリアを決定づける2枚の素晴らしいEPをひっさげて初めてシーンに足を踏み入れ、翌年には自身のレーベルであるGeophoneを立ち上げた。ハードワークが実を結び、アメリカでの確固たる人気を獲得した後、大西洋を超えてヨーロッパの人気レーベルからも目にとまることとなった。TresorやSemantica、Spazio Disponibile、Prologueなどから素晴らしい作品の多くをリリースしてきたのだ。

His work released on top labels like Tresor, Semantica, and Spazio Disponibile were all smash hits! Conqueror the U.S. underground electronic music scene, Mike Parker will be playing at VENT, on December 29th!
Mike Parker takes both an experimental and ritualistic approach to music that makes him stand out from the rest. He is one of the few true artists in a time where the DJ population has become oversaturated, and his distinctive sounds can be immediately identified among the noise. For over 20 years, Parker has perfected his own unique interpretation of techno, and has gained a legend-like status on the global stage, and like his friend Donato Dozzy, stimulates his audience.
In 1997, he released 2 incredible EPs that were not only his very first, but would solidify his career in music, and the following year he established his label, Geophone. All the hard work paid off and as he gained popularity in the United States he started to get recognized across the Atlantic, attracting the attention of European labels. He then went on to release many epic works on notable labels like Tresor, Semantica, Spazio Disponibile, and Prologue.
As a DJ, he had been a central figure in the rise of the mid-90s American scene. His hypnotic, abstract, hard, and aggressive approach has gained him much popularity, gaining him many fans.
